We've changed the way you complete courses
In response to user feedback we have simplified the way courses can be completed.
Until now you needed to complete the topics and modules in order, from start to finish. But from today you can complete them in any order you wish.
Just visit any topic that interests you, and when you are ready mark it as completed by clicking the green 'Mark complete' button at the bottom of the page.
Once you have completed all of the topics in a module an assessment will be provided for you.
Complete all the assessments to finish the course.
In 2018, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) jointly published a guidance document entitled the Management of Hyperglycaemia in Type 2 Diabetes. This was produced by an international panel of diabetes care experts assembled by the ADA and the EASD and, with its comprehensive review of the latest evidence, it called for a paradigm shift to patient-centered care. This two module course interviews several of the panel’s experts, focussing on different aspects of the decision cycle both from primary and secondary care perspectives. Glucose-lowering medication approaches, the importance of intensifying injectable therapies and combining therapies are also discussed. The 2019 update to this report which incorporates the outcome data of several important new trials is covered in the second module.
Once enrolled on a course you can access the content in any order you wish, simply browse the course using the ‘CONTENT AND YOUR PROGRESS’ section on this page.
If at any time you need help finding the next step to complete just click the green question mark in the bottom right of the screen for directions.
